(ESP) En X-COV desarrollamos herramientas que ayuden a los médicos en su diagnóstico y evaluación de pacientes del covid-19 mediante el análisis de radiografías con Inteligencia Artificial (IA). La idea parte de Don Joaquín López Herrais, director del proyecto y junto con él ha sido desarrollado por un equipo multidisciplinar en el que participan profesionales, investigadores y estudiantes universitarios. La perspectiva clínica está guiada por radiólogos y expertos en imagen médica.

En la web tomografia.es pueden encontrar un prototipo totalmente funcional y una base de datos abierta con la que X-COV quiere ayudar al desarrollo de otros proyectos similares.

El proyecto ha sido ganador en la categoría «Cuestiones sociales y de salud» y ganador general del Hackathon #CodeTheCurve organizado por la UNESCO, IBM y SAP durante el mes de abril de 2020 y uno de los 20 ganadores del Hackathon #VenceAlVirus impulsado por la Comunidad de Madrid durante los días 4 y 5 de Abril de 2020. También ha obtenido el Primer Premio de la convocatoria CompluEmprende de la Universidad Complutense de Madrid e importantes empresas como Google y Repsol-Sinopec lo han financiado con recursos informáticos para utilizar Google Cloud y los superordenadores de Repsol-Sinopec gratuitamente.

(ENG) At X-COV we develop tools that help doctors in their diagnosis and evaluation of covid-19 patients by analyzing radiographs with Artificial Intelligence (AI). The idea of ​​Don Joaquín López Herrais, director of the project and together with him, has been developed by a multidisciplinary team in which professionals, researchers and university students participate. The clinical perspective is guided by radiologists and medical imaging experts.

The project has been a winner in the «Social and Health Issues» category and master winner of the Hackathon #CodeTheCurve organized by UNESCO, IBM and SAP during the month of April 2020 and one of the 20 winners of the Hackathon #VenceAlVirus promoted by the Community of Madrid on April 4 and 5, 2020. It also obtained the First Prize from the CompluEmprende call from the Complutense University of Madrid and important companies such as Google and Repsol-Sinopec have financed it with computer resources to use Google Cloud and the Repsol-Sinopec supercomputers free of charge.
