Rocío Silleras-Aguilar

(ENG) BIO:

PhD. Cum Laude in Fine Arts (UPV 2015). Expert in Plastic and Sound Art. Title of her doctoral thesis: Solid & Sound Tesis.

Samsung Tech Institute’s Program DesArrolladoras Scholarship (2019-2020), focused on Full-Stack Web Development, Artificial Intelligence and Big Data.

For years she has been developing her work in artistic creation and university research & education. Member of the De Irregularis Orchestra. Commissioner of One Minute for Miguel Molina Project. Creator of the RE((SON)))ANCE Project. For years she has exhibited her work in various national and international spaces (Spain, United Kingdom, Mexico), has collaborated in multiple university research projects and has been invited to hold conferences, masterclasses and seminars in different universities and research centers such as UPV, ETSIT-UPV, UB, EHU, IVAM, or CSIMP-UAM among others.

She is currently a professor of Imagination Processes and Sensory ExtensionS at ESMAR’s Master of Sound Art and is a contributing researcher of the X-COV Project (Nuclear Physics Group of the Complutense University of Madrid, GFN-UCM), where they develop image analysis tools with Artificial Intelligence and have received several awards.

Arte, investigación y educación son los tres pilares de mi vida. Sinónimo a vivir. Mientras la tecnología se encuentra en todos ellos, potenciándolos desde el interior.

(ESP) BIO:

Doctora Cum Laude en Bellas Artes (UPV 2015). Experta en Arte Plástico y Sonoro. Tesis: Sólido y Sonido.

Becada en el Programa DesArrolladoras del Samsung Tech Institute (2019-2020), centrado en Desarrollo Web Full-Stack, Inteligencia Artificial y Big Data.

Desde hace años desarrolla su labor en creación artística e investigación Y educación universitaria. Miembro del grupo De Irregulari Orchestras. Comisaria del Proyecto Un Minuto para Miguel Molina. Creadora del proyecto RE(((SON)))ANCE. Desde hace años ha expuesto su obra en diversos espacios nacionales e internacionales (España, Reino Unido, México), ha colaborado en múltiples proyectos de investigación universitaria y ha sido invitada a realizar conferencias, masterclasses y seminarios en diferentes universidades y centros de investigación como UPV, ETSIT-UPV, UB, EHU, IVAM, o CSIMP-UAM entre otros.

En la actualidad es profesora de Procesos de Imaginación y Extensión Sensorial en el Máster de Arte Sonoro de la ESMAR y es investigadora colaboradora del proyecto X-COV (Grupo de Física Nuclear de la Universidad Complutense de Madrid, GFN-UCM), donde desarrollan herramientas de análisis de imágenes con Inteligencia Artificial y han recibido varios premios.
